30 Years of Ukraine's Military Intelligence!

On this day in 1992, the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk signed the Directive "On the Military Strategic Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine". Military intelligence emerged simultaneously with the creation of the Armed Forces as their integral element in independent Ukraine, and this can be called a new page in the history of the defense agency of a sovereign state.

Today, it is impossible to underestimate the significant role of Ukrainian military intelligence in the fight against threats to Ukraine's national security. Military intelligence provides Ukrainian state authorities and the Armed Forces with extremely important, objective and timely intelligence information that helps to protect our state, its constitutional order and territorial integrity. It also plays a role in conducting special events aimed at supporting Ukraine's national interests and state policy in the economic, political, military, military-technical and information spheres.

Military reconnaissance men carry out their military tasks in extremely difficult conditions, bringing our victory over the Russian occupant closer.
