In Memoriam: Guennadi Guermanovitch

It is with great sadness that we report the death of SEAL Center Advisor Guennadi Guermanovitch by Russian occupiers firing on a car of a humanitarian non-governmental organization on February 2, 2024. Guennadi Guermanovitch was born in 1971. He began his military service in the USSR with conscript service in the Kyiv Military District in 1990. Served in the French Foreign Legion, Chevalier of the Legion of Honor. During his life way, he visited almost all the "hot" regions of our time: Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali, Congo, Chad, Kosovo.

As an Advisor to the SEAL Center, Guennadi Guermanovitch participated in the drafting of the Law on Military Consulting Activities, assisted the Center in international activities, in particular, in the status of "Observer" of The International Code of Conduct for Private Security Providers' Association (ICoCA).

Guennadi is a Frenchman with a Ukrainian heart, he was a citizen of France, but he devoted a large part of his life to Ukraine and died on Ukrainian soil.

Our condolences to his family and close friends! Eternal memory!

Requiescat in Pace!
