Today, May 23, Heroes Day is celebrated in Ukraine.

This is both an old and a new memorable date. Old - because Heroes Day was established in the memory of Yevhen Konovalets, one of the founders of the OUN, who was killed by the Bolsheviks (he was killed by an NKVD agent on May 23, 1938).

New - because it appeared again in the modern Ukrainian history after 2014, from the moment when the descendants of the Bolsheviks keep trying to kill as many Ukrainians as possible, and modern Heroes are resisting this with all their might.

Unfortunately, our Heroes, like the Heroes of the past, give their lives so that our Ukraine never knows evil and is free and prosperous for many years. Gennadiy "Jeremy" Germanovych, Ihor "Horets" Leshchin, Vitaly "Dok" Netrebovskyi, Vladyslav "Koshchii" Kozchenko, Vyacheslav "Zeleny" Shevchenko and many other colleagues from SEAL Center, whose names cannot yet be revealed, but who never be forgotten, forever included in the ranks of Heroes. Eternal respect and low bow.
