Following preliminary meetings in the Republic of Slovenia during 2025, our SSTTC SEAL and Zveza Slovenskih Častnikov/Military Officers Association of Slovenia jointly decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of mutually promoting their operational experience, expanding market access, and providing best-in-class services to customers in Ukraine, Slovenia, and Europe.
Recognizing the importance of strengthening mutual understanding, professional development, and cooperation in the areas of training, information exchange, and veteran support, the parties agreed to exchange information and best practices in the areas of defense, security, leadership, and veteran reintegration. Promoting mutual understanding and solidarity between Slovenian officers and Ukrainian veterans. Exchange of trainers, instructors, and experts. Exchange of experience on the reintegration, rehabilitation, and social support of veterans. Cooperation in the areas of psychological resilience, employment programs, and social inclusion.
Cooperation will be based on the principles of reciprocity, equality, and mutual benefit.
Representatives of the SEAL Center for Survival and Special Training took part in the Demine Ukraine 2025 Forum, held in Kyiv on December 5, 2025. The purpose of the participation was to deepen cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining, exchange experience with national and international partners, and identify practical solutions to accelerate the return of land to safe use. The forum, which addressed demining priorities, digital tools for planning operations, and mechanisms of international support, enabled SEAL to present its approaches to specialist training and to contribute to the implementation of innovative practices in mine action.
Participation in the event also became a logical continuation of the Center’s ongoing initiatives: SEAL regularly conducts specialized training sessions, courses, and practical exercises in tactical medicine, field operations, and other disciplines integrated into the training programs for deminers and security professionals. We see cooperation with government institutions and international partners as an opportunity to expand our consulting services, implement educational programs, and organize training activities for communities and professionals in the field of demining.
